They Needed:
The committee called for proposals to manage the community’s
annual Small Business Awards Banquet, which recognizes outstanding
small businesses in the Mid-Columbia region.
What
We Did:
ImagineThat! was selected to coordinate all facets of the banquet
– from committee meetings to bookkeeping, promotion to logistics.
ImagineThat!, in conjunction with committee members, took care of
all the details before, during and after the event.
This event is designed to honor small businesses in the community,
and takes 6 months of preparation. We drew up an extensive advertising
and promotion campaign to attract more nominees as well as more
attendees for the banquet. Promotional elements included radio station
blitzes, print advertising (news publications, Chamber newsletters),
media releases, direct mail invitations, and civic club presentations.
The results: 18 nominees and an attendance increase of nearly 25%.
